Chris Seeks To Quantify NHS Employers' Conformity With Guidance

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many NHS employers in England are recycling employer contributions as additional salary where employees have opted out of the NHS Pension Scheme in accordance with the guidance issued by NHS Employers on 24th March 2022.

The information requested is not collected centrally. However, we are working with NHS England to ensure that National Health Service employers can offer local solutions to address pension tax issues for clinicians, including the option of employer pension contribution recycling.
