To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, pursuant to the Answer of 14 June 2022 to Question 15171 on Coronavirus: Vaccination, if he will publish the advice from the Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation on the deployment of the Novavax vaccine.

The Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) discussed the COVID-19 vaccine Nuvaxovid, developed by Novavax, at a meeting on 24 February 2022. A copy of the minutes of this meeting is attached.
The JCVI deferred consideration of whether Nuvaxovid should be recommended for introduction to the United Kingdom vaccination programme until later this year. The Government will consider any further advice from the JCVI in due course.
