CHRIS CHOPE WELCOMES BOUNDARY COMMISSION PROPOSALS FOR THE CHRISTCHURCH CONSTITUENCY
The Boundary Commission, this week, published its proposals for new Parliamentary constituency boundaries to take effect at the next General Election.
Chris Chope said
‘These proposals are most welcome. They accord with common sense leaving the Christchurch constituency unaltered except for minor changes to ensure that the constituency boundary in West Moors and Ferndown is coterminous with unitary authority ward boundaries. In recognising the whole of Dorset as one sub-region the Commission has avoided the need to make changes arising from the creation of Dorset and BCP as two unitary authorities’.
