All vaccines deployed in the United Kingdom have been authorised through a rigorous and expert review process by the independent regulator, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Authority (MHRA). The MHRA continues to monitor the safety and effectiveness of authorised COVID-19 vaccines, including reviewing all suspected Adverse Drug Reaction reports relating to COVID-19 vaccines where the patient died shortly after vaccination. The MHRA publishes a weekly report covering adverse reactions to approved COVID-19 vaccines which is available at the following link:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-vaccine-adverse-reactions

These reports summarise the outcome of a number of detailed safety assessments and provide the appropriate context. Vaccines remain the most effective way to protect people from COVID-19 and have saved tens of thousands of lives.
